The Knights of Columbus has grown into an impressive service organization. There are almost 2 million Knights of Columbus throughout the world. They have been lauded and praised by countless popes, cardinals, bishops and priests over the years.
The Knights of Columbus have always been defenders of the most fundamental of all human rights.
They consistently defend the “right to life”. They have a great reverence and respect for the
sacredness of life. They teach life begins at the moment of conception. They teach God gives life
and only God can take life.
The Knights of Columbus aggressively support men and women and families and young people in their faith. They make a great difference in the faith lives of countless men and women all over the world. They are recognized as men of character and as men of faith.
The Knights of Columbus are men of service to their community. They are guided by their belief in God and by their belief in themselves. They are family focused and youth focused. They are fearless in their outreach to all races, creeds and nationalities.
The Knights of Columbus believe that actions speak louder than words. They help us with the Parish Festival and Parish Grounds. They are Ushers for Sunday worship and Eucharistic Ministers at the table of the Lord. They organize our blood drives and care for the sick and dying. They are on our Golf and Raffle committees. They are our Sunday morning counters and good stewards in every aspect of parish life.
Saint Thomas More parish is blessed and pleased to have many of our good parishioners as officers and council members of the Cherry Hill Council 6173.
Council officers from Saint Thomas More Parish include Frank Perrotto, Marty Hahn, Sr., Henry Glover, Jr., Richard Haughwout and Robert Brennan.
